Kicker KEY500.1 Plug & Play Harness

Overview

Plug & Play wiring kit to pick up the High-Level speaker signal from the factory head unit to send to the Kicker KEY500.1 mono amp.

The harness also includes (2x) 12ga subwoofer wires in nylon-braided sleeving to connect your subwoofer to the KEY500.1

Note this harness uses the left and right front speakers for the subwoofer input to pick up the full-range audio signal

 

Fully Plug & Play Kits

Select your vehicle model and year for a fully plug & play kit that plugs directly into the factory vehicle wiring and your KEY500.1 amp. Currently compatibility list:

• 2021+ Ford Bronco (Base Audio System only)
• 2022+ Ford Maverick (Base Audio System only)
• 2022+ Hyundai Santa Cruz (Base Audio System only)

THESE HARNESSES ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH BASE AUDIO SYSTEMS. IF YOU HAVE AN UPGRADED FACTORY AUDIO SYSTEM, THIS HARNESS WILL NOT WORK IN YOUR VEHICLE.

Harness Length

All subwoofer harnesses are 20' in length.  This allows for installation virtually anywhere in the vehicle.

Install Kit Options

The amp must be powered directly from the battery or a portion of the power distribution system.  The current draw is too high to power off an existing circuit in the vehicle.

None

The base harness comes with no power and ground wiring.  Choose this option when you have your own power and ground wiring and all fuses and terminals needed for the installation.

Include Install Kit

The install kit option gives you everything you'll need with a pre-installed fuse and ring terminals for attachment to the battery and chassis.  This option includes a 22' power wire in nylon-braided sleeving and 3' ground wire (8ga TXL).  No extra work is required beyond routing the wires and attaching them to the battery and chassis.
